Does it experience at least a 10 degree F temperature drop between night and day?
How about seasonal variations in temperatures?

Philip, just for clarification, who are you asking? My Bulbos get temp variation just because that is how I keep my greenhouse. Whether the temp has anything to do with flowering with Bulbos, I'm not the one to know... sorry

Asking Paul.
The temperature variation is what prompts Bulbos to spike.

It experiences around a 10 to 15 temperature drop from the day and night.
As for seasonal variations, (if I'm remembering correctly) I put it outside last year so it experienced the heat/humidity of the St. Louis, MO spring, summer and fall. Even if I did not, I live in an old house that has drafty windows and I leave the outer screens open during that time so they would have experienced some heat and humidity coming around the window. Though I'm quite certain I did take it outside.

Actually, the more I think about it I feel more confident that it was outside last year.

Is this a BS division or a NBS seedling?

I'm not sure what BS or NBS stands for. It was not a seedling when I got it, but I do not know if the growers started them from seeds or if they were divided.

BS = blooming size, NBS = near blooming size.

Ah, it was near blooming size. They said it was to bloom in it's next bloom season. But we all know how that goes sometimes, lol... Sometimes they are right on, and other times you've got to wait another year.
