Mine is doing well though growing slowly mounted on a piece of cork with a good-sized wad of sphag. I try to water at least 3-4 times per week but a lot of the time I only get to it once and it doesn't seem to mind much. It gets medium light, kind of on the bright end of what a Phal would like, though I've been told they actually do well in lower light than that.
I had some of the spotting and leaf-drop problems at first, I think it happened when I left the foliage wet. I would suggest increasing air movement around the plant, switching to bottom-watering for a while, or both.
Some of the nicest ones I've seen were in wood baskets with sphag, kept in the shadier section of a greenhouse (which could still be pretty bright compared to a windowsill). The high moisture from the sphag coupled with the airiness afforded by the basket seemed to please the plants a lot. I've recently been considering unmounting mine and putting it in a basket to see if it will grow any faster and finally bloom!
Anyway, just my
. I'm pretty much a total novice with Angs, maybe someone else who knows more will weigh in...
