got thru reading all of these and ....Im feeling guilty for not joining already ...ahh this month I join AOS and HOS.

we have the big show coming in april and I want to collect a few MORE nice plants and do my best to learn more about them...I think Ive got past being a casual orchid killer but havent reached the professional level of killing a thousand yet


its an ethereal kind of thing, fleeting moments of pure joy and then days of overwhelming pain.

I've also joined AOS, even though it's reallllly far away.

But yes, orchid societies are not only a terribly enabling way of getting more orchids, feeding the wanting-to-get-more-orchids obsession through regular spasm-inducing slide shows and even a source of helping-you-keep-them-right information/advice!
