Default Miltonia help Thanks

Thanks to all who answered my question. I'm not sure I know how to post a photo. I will try watering more often, and air conditioning is on,does that help with the cooling? I'm in Okla. and it gets very hot here. As I said it is in a small pot of something.Feels hard, not loose, and that pot is in another pot filled with what looks like wood chips or bark.Is the north window ok for light?
Thanks

Hi Ya,

I don't grow anything in the north window, can't see much light going on there. Mine are under lights.Right now ... My AC goes on around noon'ish and goes off around 10'ish. This allows them to catch atlease some of the humidity.

Have a read of this link, I think it will help you get to know Milties better ...

Unhappy Thanks Gloria

for the information link. From what I read, maybe I need to repot it. But finding any of that kind of medium around here, will be impossible. I have moved it to an east window, but all but one of the leaves are yellow at the base. will probably drop. I see no new growth.

I haven't seen any photo's of your orchid, but yellowing bulb could also mean the end of the life cycle for that bulb - so it's not always a bad thing.

Repotting any orchid can bring in renewed vigor and health
As far as the planting media goes, I can't find anything around here either. I mail order everything.
