Sunday when I came back from a weekend getaway, I decided to go to my local nursery and I picked up a nice noID oncidium which I have identified as Oncidium Sharry Baby 'Yellow'. Monday I got a package in the mail containing the plants that I ordered back in December. One of them was mine and the other two were my mom's. I got a beautiful Phal. cornu-cervi fma. Chattaladae which I am very excited about. Today I went back to my local nursery in hopes of buying a brassia hybrid. I had it in my hand when out of the corner of my eye I saw somwthing that I have never seen before in person or in Virginia. A Pyschopsis Kalihi. It was priced at $55, but since it is not in bloom now the nice guy gave me 15% off. This plant is on fire. It has three spikes and two small buds emerging on one of them. I have seen pictures of this plant before, but I have never seen one this big for sale before. I could't resist so I bought it. Here are some pictures of all three of my new plants. Thursday I will be posting again because I have another plant coming.
