I've read a few threads on different sorts of rooting agents.. But what I'm after is some information on Clonex. Please share your experiences with the product. And dot down a few things you have used it for.. And how you've used it.. What were the results?
I looked up the Clonex label and it is IBA (Iduyl Butic Acid) the same ingredient in Superthrive and KLH.
It is not water soluble so I do not like any of the three for orchids. It is designed to stick to plant cuttings and encourage roots. Since it is not water soluble the concentration is very low and over dosages seems to damage orchids.
I like Gibberelic acid with has the same effects and is water soluble. It also has no damaging effect when used too strong as it is usually made from seaweed.
