Ohh how I love this forum. Checking it all the day cause i love my phals. I buy them on the clearence so it is always surprise for me. One of them havent bloomed since september 2009 but it seems healthy.
i know it knows best what to do but just from curiosity what was your maximum not blooming-resting period?
Thanks guys, cheers from Slovakia
What a great question! I have some that bloom a couple of times a year and others that have never rebloomed. I'm interested too to hear what other people have experienced! (My current maximum is 2.5 years)
Most of mine have rebloomed around the same time each year, although I do have one very stubborn phal that has not produced new blooms in a year and a half. I have my fingers crossed that it does something soon!
The majority of my Phals bloom like clockwork every winter. But I do have one exception, there's one phal (getting exactly the same culture as the others) has stubbornly refused to bloom for 2 years already. Sometimes my newly purchased Phals skip a blooming before getting on a regular schedule. guess they need to adjust to life out a comfy greenhouse.
