Default Kegeliella atropilosa needs help!

I purchased the K. atropilosa last summer as a small plant. It had several leaves and looked healthy. It doesn't seem too happy these days. I am wondering if anyone has any experience in growing these? I would appreciate any tips on care. At the present time, the orchid has lost most of its leaves. The bulbs, although tiny, are green. The leaf tips go a yellow/brown and then dry out the entire leaf. Roots look good. I've been watering twice a week. It is in a two inch pot (or smaller) with bark. I e:mailed the nursery that I purchased from and they thought that it might be over watered. However, I have read that you should not allow the medium to go completely dry. In the tiny plastic pot that it is in, the medium does dry fairly quickly. I am totally confused by this one and hope someone can offer advice. Thanks!

It could be a air humidity issue where the air becomes to dry during the winter. Where do you grow it?

It's a Stanhopea relative.

If you're using tap water, I suggest switching to RO/DI or distilled water.

I am using tap water which is city source. It has been tested and seems to be pretty good. i've used tap water on all my orchids, including masdevalias and draculas. All seem fine. I live in NJ and the weather here is currently very cold and gloomy. The plants are indoors near a window with an additional light source. Too dry in terms of humidity is possible, but would be somewhat difficult to correct. I've read conflicting things about watering and temps. Any input?

What are the numerical values (along with unit of measurement) for the temperatures they are currently under?

What are the numerical values (along with the unit of measurement) of the temperatures recommended to you?

Numerical values for the humidity?

Is it not a viable solution to raise humidity via a humidifier, or a couple of humidifiers? They can be relatively inexpensive and can start as low as $25 each.

Some species of plants are more sensitive to dissolved minerals in the water than others.

What has the water been tested for?

What is that additional light source? Power compacts? Halides? Halogens? Standard florescents? T5's? Incandescents? LED's?

If you have a light meter - what are the numerical values with the unit of measurement for the amount of light the plant receives?

Any pics of the plant?

Thank-you all for your recommendations. I will try and improve on the conditions and hope that this orchid picks up. I appreciate all responses both on the forum and privately.
