Default Paph with double bloom

I picked this plant up about two years ago because I liked the foliage and I can't remember what the hybrid is. Anyway, it bloomed last feb with one flower and this year it has TWO blooms on the same spike. I'l attach a pic, but it's not very clear. This is growing hydroponicly in a large terrarium, stuck between two pieces of limestone in the direct and constant flow of a waterfall. It's roots have spread up and across the waterfall and also down into the 3 inches of water that is beneath it! As you can see in the picture, the second bud is substantially smaller than the main one and has yet to open.

This looks to be a sequential bloomer. The first bloom will show off for a few weeks / months as the second bud continues to grow and mature. When the second bud does mature it will open. Sometimes the first bud will drop that day, sometimes they both show together for a few days. Depending on the plant parentage, this may continue for months / year, as more new buds form to replace the last flower.

It appears to be a Maudiae type hybrid. This plant does not have the ancestry for truly sequential blooming that can continue with flower after flower for months or years, but it isn't unusual to have a nice second flower that comes along a few weeks after the first. They often will both be open together for a few weeks or more. Sometimes the smaller second bud may not develop but it looks like this one will. It is obviously doing well in your terrarium. Enjoy.
