Hard cane dendrobium--new green bump

Hi~~~

My hard cane dendrobium--canes are yellowy-green (like a granny smith apple)--has put out a Keiki & a small green bump on one of its nodes. It has no leaves, just the cane, keiki, & bump. I am assuming that it is entering a growth cycle. The tips of canes are green. It is watered weekly (when potting mix is dry).

Is the new bump going to grow into a flowering stem?
