Default Can this Oncidium be saved?

My snowbird friend gave me her sickly looking oncidium (thanks... ) before she left for the North. The roots are dead, the psudobulb shriveled but still green, no signs of rot just neglect. Can I do the bag trick on it or is it too late?

I think it's worth trying too. Onc's are pretty sturdy orchids.

If those remaining roots are good then there's a chance she'll make it! Good luck if you try to save her.

Definitely worth trying. A lot is learned thru experimentation. Ive revived many, though it takes many years before they get back into shape.

I would try the sphag and bag method as outlined by Ray Barkalow. Here's the site with info: Sphag-n-Bag
