Heya! Unfortunately, I lost both the mother plant and the keiki. The keiki held on for about 2 months but finally succumbed.

I'm not so sure the first poster today has the same issue as I though. Based on the brief posting, it sounds more like the mother plant is healthy but the stalks are just dying. Unfortunately, my mother Phal was in extremely poor health and lost almost all of its roots before dying.

I'd try the potting method just described to see if you have any success with that!

I have two phals with keikis that have no roots. I read somewhere that if you lightly wrap a bit of spag around the base of the keikis and keep it slightly damp, that the root growth would be encouraged. I can't vouch for this as, although I am trying it, there are no roots yet!
