Bulb growing horizontally

Hello fellow orchid lovers at OB! You've all always been such good help around here, so I thought I'd come through with another question!

This Odontocidium (I believe) is very lush and happy. However, my newest psuedobulb has grown in horizontally. I'm just wondering if this would affect any future new growth.

If I were to make a guess, I would say that it grew this way because I planted it in too big a pot. What do you guys think? Should I go for it and make another transplant? I transplanted it about 6 months ago...
