Default Is this the start of crown rot on my Phal?

The yellow spot is sorta soft and the black is hard and only moves like the outside is crispy and the inside is like a bubble, kinda like it already healed. Is there anything I can do for the yellow spot? I do spray sometimes, is that the culprit? Sorry for the first couple fuzzy pictures, and thank you for your help!

It may have gotten a little water down in that leaf. It looks like the plant is getting ready to shed it. Long term I think your plant will be fine.

Thankfully it is not crown rot, it looks like a little bacterial/fungal spot. As Terri says, the plant is getting ready to lose the leaf so all should be fine.

I generally agree with above. It is likely a leaf ready to shed... however...

I had a phal with a hard black spot that looked somewhat like that. It spread up the center and the leaves fell off as their based blackened. In the end all leaves fell and threw the remains of the plant.

It did take several months to very very slowly spread. I still don't know what caused it or how I would have saved it.

What I would do might be seen as overkill... but having had the problem once I would be more cautious with a second looking like that. What I would do is remove the leaf and gently pull away the base of the leaf where it's yellow and black.

If the plant underneath is nice and green and healthy then either you've stopped it spreading, or it wasn't going to spread anyway. Either way all you've done is hurry the dropping of this leaf, and if the black is underneath you know and have more chance to try and do something about it (although I don't know what).

So the yellow is at the very base of the leaf....And I should cut it off there? The black is right next to that root....What should I do there?

You might spray the area with regular brown Listerine (or store brand version). It is an antiseptic and will stop bacteria and fungus.
I would probably spray the area and watch it for a few days. Then if you have to, you can remove the leaf as Rosie suggests.
I've had these spots and they haven't progressed but as Rosie said, she had an awful time with hers.

Yes you described it pretty well. It will be a bit difficult to cut off as you will have to pry the leaf from the base in order to get the razor between the base and leaf. That is the main reason I would just spray with Listerine and watch it for awhile (unless the spot gets larger). That leaf will come away from the base by itself pretty soon.
