It's not getting over ninety and it on the other side of the 6ft tank. And it is a 250 watt, I don't know the kelvin rating sorry. And it is not going to 60 at night as it is a saltwater tank and tropical fish. Should I take it out of the tank and put it in a south window? And thank you silken for the care sheet that was very helpful! And I don't know if there are any members from my area as I live in a small town Lol but I will see if someone chimes in. Thank you Silken and Philip for helping me so much!!!!
Unless the south window has a sheer curtain or some foliage outside filtering the sun, it is likely too bright for a Miltoniopsis to be right in a southern window. If it is set back a way that would be fine. They also need good air movement and the leaves like to keep fairly cool so if it is not getting much fresh air in the tank, it might be good to remove it. good luck with it.
