how to remove salt remainings on leaves' surface Male
Default how to remove salt remainings on leaves' surface

Hi guys,
unfortunately i have a "strong" water in my area. When i water my orchids on the leaves' surface it forms a thin limestone film (maybe also some fertilizer salt remaining).
How can i remove it without damage the leaves?
I've tried with vinegar but no results... some other suggestion?
Thanks
Massimo

Lemon juice is useful. Multiple rub downs might be necessary if the build up is bad.

Always been a huge fan of using lemon juice. It also disinfects the surface and kills any fungus that could perhaps be forming.

But that's not your case, but it does make the leaves really shiny!

Is the lemon juice used straight, or is it diluted with water?
