It's gorgeous! I wouldn't feel guilty over it. Was it a gift? Or was he trying to get you started in growing orchids? Either way, I wouldn't worry about it. But if you still feel guilty, snap a photo of it and send it to him along with a nice bottle of wine. That should make him feel quite happy!
