Super newbie looking for a good start! Female

I am one who prefers sphag for my phals but I make sure it is not packed tight. I will even pull a phal out of the pot it came in and pull some of the sphag out from between the roots to loosen it. I don't have very high humidity and with lots of holes in the pot my sphag dries in about 4 days. I have a fan going in my grow area at all times.
