I have a couple of these myself. My daughter purchased one for me, and then I saw a mini that was white with a pink center and had to have it. I'm considering getting another one, but honestly I don't know how well they are going to work out for me. I've had them for what? A month?

I don't use ice. I soak them in a bucket for 15 minutes and then carefully dry the leaves and the crown. The blooms on my larger one have lasted since I purchased it, but the ones on my mini dropped off very quickly. The stem has dried and I repotted it. The mini was in moss and very, very wet inside, so I'm glad I repotted it in bark.
