Cymbidium Spike, what now?

A Cymbidium that I've had for two years has finally spiked for me. I am very excited about finally seeing its flowers and want to do my best to keep it healthy.
It is currently by my bedroom window where it gets some light (but probably not enough).
I keep it around 15 degrees during the day and at night I draw the curtains so that the plant stays a little cooler.
I am considering moving it to my living room where it would get more light, but the temperature would a little warmer, around 18-22 degrees celcius. The spike is about 7 inches and both windows are facing west.
Should I move it to give it more light at this stage of the spike or should I try to keep it cooler? Thank you all in advance.

I don't recommend moving it.

1. The shift in the direction of the lighting source will twist the flowers in all sorts of directions.

2. The buds could blast.

I think that you should leave it where it is until the buds are nearly ready to open, although more light as well would be better.
The sudden temperature difference can cause the buds or the entire spike to blast, as I've sadly discovered on several occasions before finding out not to move it someplace warmer.

Would it be possible to put it behind a curtain againt the window in the living room? That way you would create a cooler microclimate for the plant and the temp difference wouldn't shock it too much.

Some species need less water in this moment, the buds can go bad.

Thanks for the advise, I think I'll leave it where it is for now, it seems to be doing okay there. I'll post pictures when it blooms.
