Default black spot on cattleya amethystoglossa leaf!

ok i know also every posts about leaf or plant issues so i feel the need myself to ask, my c amethystoglossa has this black spot on it for a while look like it has gotten a little bigger, its not mushy or anything, it almost looks like a dry spot, anyone have any idea what is is or if should remove the leaf?

It looks like physical damage to the leaf to me... Have you bumped it or moved it lately?

My plants will get a black spots like that if they fall from their shelf or if my cat bites the leaves... Sometimes it can look like something more. If it spreads much more or to another leaf then I'd get rid of the leaf. If you don't feel comfortable then you could always rub it with a little peroxide or rubbing alcohol. When there is a wound on the leaf it is a place where infection can get in anyway. Hope this helps... Happy growing
