On boring days (like rainy weekends) I've very capable of checking in every 30 minutes for new posts, all day long. On a normal work day I'll check in 4-5 times, and in the evening I'm capable of staying on 2-3 hours, sometimes more.
I've been off OB a long long time, but am quickly getting back to my old habits!

As a retiree I'm on a dozen times a day if I'm home, either researching, reading old posts or posting. It's very addicting, just like orchid collecting.
