Fall is nice! Days look about 70-60 deg, and Nights look like 30-40. Sunny most of the time. Low Humidity.
Summer is sick! HOT! Highs are anywhere from 90-110. Lows look like 70-80. Humidity is very high, 60-85 percent. Not alot of rain. Sunny all the time.
Spring is good. Highs 60-80. Lows 40-70. Rain is iffy. Sometimes there is alot sometimes there is not. Humidity is okay, about 40-60. Sunny.
Knowing this now, what do you think about putting vandas outside here ?

Not much of my opinion has changed.
The only difference between where you are and where I am is how cold it gets in the winter. You get colder, which means growing Vandas outdoors is only allowed from spring to fall and winter is indoors growing for most of them, except V. coerulescens.

In fact, let's do this...
If you buy one, I'll buy one.
Then if you need help, you can let me know.
I think the moderator Susanne ("cb977") owns one. She may be able to vouch for V. coerulescens. It was her avatar pic at one point in time.

Spring.
But it comes from China, so it can probably be okay if you put it out right now.

I'll put an order out for mine today, like I promised.
Hausermann's.
If they ran out, then Andy's.

Katie,
In my opinion, there isn't enough fresh air circulation in the orchidariums. I think the orchids that like lots of fresh air pout due to this. Yes their are fans in them moving the air around, but it is stale air. That is just my opinion.
Another orchid you should try growing is Neofinetia falcata. I don't think you had one of those previously did you? I have some ideas on what else you should try but I have the names of the orchids at home (I'm at work). I'll try to remember to post them later.

Large grade bark in clear plastic pot. That's all you need.
Remember, put them in bright indirect light.
