If you leave it in the moss be very careful about over watering. Moss is tricky for many people (although others love it) and the main problem with moss is overwatering.
When you water make sure you run plenty of water through the pot, but then you need to make sure it dries before you water again, and not just on the top/outside but in the middle as well. A good way to judge watering is to look at the root colour. If the roos are green at the bottom of the pot (assuming it's in a clear pot) then it's not time to water again yet. Once the roots turn a slivery colour it's time to water again.
If you don't have a clear pot then use a wooden skewer and push it down into the center of the medium. Leave it there and pull it out when you want to check if it's time to water yet. If the stick feels damp then it's not time yet.
Personally if it's potted in compacted moss I would repot into bark sooner rather than later, even if it's in flower. This is a personal preference though because I don't get on with moss.
