I recently purchased an oncidium ampliatum, it was cheap and I remember my aunt having one a while back, I loved how the flowers looked so i got it. anyways, I've attached some pictures because the leaves don't look to good, and I don't know what cause it since thats the way i bought it. The white area on the leaf developed after I poured some hydrogen peroxide on it. should I cut the leaf off? is it fungus? btw, the last picture is the back of the leaf.

It looks like sun damage to me. You can cut off the damaged parts if you don’t like how they look, just make sure to use a clean and sharp utensil.

I would wait till the new growths are bigger so there will be less stress on the plant if you do cut.

While I can't hazard a guess as to what the problem is, I have a question: are there two separate plants in that pot? If so, it'd be smart to separate them to prevent cross-contamination.

It looks very much like the sun burn I gave one of my plants.
