Default Help with this Orchid.

I picked up this Orchid yesterday, it looks quite sickly and it cost be only $20 hahaha!! But viewing the dead flower that was left on it, I seen what to me was one of the most beautiful Orchid flowers I seen yet, so with a 90 day return policy I decided to give it a shot and see what I can do for it, at first glance I thought Cattleya, but another plant identical to it, but with no flowers had a ID tag and it said RUBESCENCE X CIRCLE OF LIFE.
I got pics of course, but not so great cus my camera died and I had to use my webcam for the pics, the leafs as you see are bad, but there was a few good ones in there and I am not sure if its cus they froze or dried out, the roots were not to bad, some were rotted, but I would say there is still a lot of hope for it, I am open to suggestions on getting this guy on the right track to recovery and very hopefully flowers again, I want to see those beauties healthy next time.

It is a Catt. Either it got too much water, or not enough. From what I was told by my nursery here the wrinkled leaves could be due to either of these. Take it out of the pot, and look at the roots. If they are dry and brittle, that means not enough, if they are black and mushy too much water. Cut off any of these bad roots. Hopefully there are still good roots left. If not I would return it. If there are there is still hope.

sheath!! Yes! it looks very much like a pea pod, through light it almost looks to be something at the base of that sheath/pea pod

The one leaf is dehydrated possibly because of root problems. Repot into a large, fast drying medium and cut off any dead roots. Catts need strong light but not direct sun in the middle of the day. Water thouroughly and then let it dry out completely between waterings. Fertilze with an orchid fertilizer according to the instructions. Good luck.

Will I took your advice, hahaha! After further look, I decided to return the sickly plant and man did I make out like a fat rat, first! I separated the plant and took the healthy portion and replanted the rest and returned it, got store credit and to my luck they got a new shipment in and were being sold on clearance, so I picked up these 2 lovelies, HAWIIAN MINI STRIPE and a (BLC) BONANZA X PERSONAL MEMOIRS, so basically I got 3 plants for the price of one.
