Default Growing medium...
Had this in another area but figured it would pertain to all genus. Does anyone use spanish moss as their growing medium? I'm trying some in a S/H pot for a Bulb. Any comments?? Thanks!

Spanish moss isn't really a moss it's in the bromeliad family...like air plants.

I think sphagnum moss does not deteriorate as quickly as spanish moss. And if I'm not mistaken, Spanish moss has a bit of salt in it which is no good for plants.
