I wish you would have posted pix of the final outcome since I see this post is a bit old. I too Have a Phal right now with 2 Keikis growing and it's my 1st time. So I'm patiently waiting on Keikis to grow roots of their own.

Wow! I have discovered a new goal in life: get a Phal to look like that.

Me too! I'm currently watching a keiki that is growing from the center as a result of a crown rot (a surprise baby as I originally thought the crown rot was caught in time and it was just a new leaf.... That's till a distinct stem has developed and now it's like one plant growing on top of another!)
And yes, watching those green nubs hoping for the roots!

Hi, Well baby and mother are both growing nicely. I apologise for the lack of pics and updates, it's mostly because I'm not on OB so much these days (too much work clogging up my time!). I haven't got any pics of the keiki as she is now (but I shall try and get a few snaps for you as soon as I can). However, I do have some photos of the last time the mum flowered (i.e. summer 2012) which I hope will keep you smiling while I work on a keiki update
