I would mount the Encyclia. I 5 or 6 species including tampensis and they like to be mounted. They will grow like weeds with filtered light and tolerate a range of temperatures. We have a shadehouse in the spring and summer and we close it with Visqueen in the fall for temps that dip below 54 at night.
We don't let the temps go below 54 in the fall and winter and in the summer, the highs occasionally reach 90s (we mist then). Our mounts get sprayed every day unless the moss is still damp. We have 2 fans going full time unless it is below 60, then we leave them off and set the heater thermostat (just in case).
Last spring all bloomed except the babies (not ready yet).
I have
E. bractescens x 2
E. guatemalensis 'MC3432' x self
E. tampensis v. alba
E. alata
E. alata v. virella
All in all they are a low maintenance bloomer!
Good luck.
Edited to add.
Bc Kosh Wallis is a cross of Brassavola Little Stars and C. Caudebec.
Brassavola Little Stars is fragrant at night.
C. Caudebec is a very fragrant Cattleya with light pink flowers that are heavily spotted with dark pink-red.
This doesn't necessarily mean yours will be fragrant, but based on the parents it should. I googled it but I didn't find if it was fragrant.
