Another person in the Beginner's Forum has a similar situation as you do with potting Vandas. I suggest checking out the thread "Sick Vanda orchid", and see what her solution was.
Thanks! I read the thread and learned a few more things. I got a bottle of 20-20-20 fertilizer (haven't used it yet) so at least I'm on the right track.
Seems like if I put mine in a pot, it has to be at least a gallon size or even bigger. The whole thing will be huge!
This morning I noticed that a few middle and lower leaves have small wrinkles near the stem. I don't know whether because it's too cold and they shrivel or it didn't get enough water. I didn't have time to take pics (will do when I get home tonight).
Hanging outdoors should be fine as long as you only water in the morning when cool in SJ. But when it warms up it will love it there. The BLC Goldenzelle is a superb grower. Lots of bright indirect light like the patio there. It too can take it there all year round. The Goldenzelle is very fragrant too. I had three of them and they are good growers. This one could be split three ways and give flowers next year.
