Eatable is a word. From my understanding the definitions of edible and eatable are slightly different. Edible refers to something that you can eat. Eatable refers to something that you'd want to eat.

i just read this noon that arundina graminifolia flowers & young shoots can be stir fried. but i don't think i want to eat the plant that give me so much wonderful flowers! here's the link Sarawak Lens: Stir fried Arundina graminifolia (bamboo orchid)!
