Orchids are a nice break from all that.

(Speaking from experience!!).

They do seem to really take our time don't they. I don't envy those of use with 100+ 'chids, PLUS actual kids.

I am one of those with 350 + orchids (I say + cause I'm scared to do an actual count), 2 young boys, 2 dogs, a fish and a cat....and I'm glad to say that these are my career. Most days I feel very fortunate about this!!!

Thanks for the pics, Izzie! I bet if you sent the cattleya pic to Fred Clarke at Sunset Valley Orchids, he could set you up with something similar...
I'm a "most-time hermit" these days... maybe when I'm done with school I'll join the local orchid society. Maybe.

I really don't have room or money for another orchid at the moment, but I appreciate you thinking of me!
OS are awesome. do itttt.
not to mention, I could never afford the minimum order or shipping from SVO.
ETA: wow. totally thought we were talking about a catt on a different thread. You're talking about the Sweet Amy! I might email him, but again, I really couldn't afford it. Would be nice if he knew where I could get it.
