Length of time for light requirements

Hey all. I really want to get a few Catts I've been interested in, but I'm worried about the light requirements. I'm sure we all read quite a bit about the requirements of footcandles/lux/etc, but I'm having trouble finding how long they need these conditions daily to grow and spike. Would anyone have this information handy, like is the footcandle an average per 24 hour? or required for 6-8 hours? Thanks in advance

I think you will find most under-light growers use something on the order of 14 hours on at something close the the peak light intensity.
