a 2nd bud maybe? - Orchid Board

had posted this in the paphs earlier and got to looking at other types of this same plant and I tell ya i think this another bud. I was thinking maybe the pouch for the labellum but its looks more like a 2nd bud to me the more I look at it...I cant decide what it is but I like it!!!

do I have a mutant 2nd bud on my farrienium ?

That is indeed a second bud Rocket. I was going to mention it yesterday when you first posted this one, but forgot. I sometimes get 2 buds on plants that normally only have one. This year my sukhakulii had 2 buds on one infloresence which is pretty unusual for that plant.

heh I was looking at it some more today in fact most of the day and indeed it is a 2nd bud

Its been there the whole time just couldnt figure out until it actually seperated that is IS another fuzzy stem off the main bud.. a budlinger

Ive gone thru it all these past few weeks and I like this much better !

someone tol' me to cut it bec it will take from the 1st bud and make it die early. NOOOOOOOooooo Mister Bill,
I think if the plant is making 2 buds it wants to make 2 buds bec its a HAPPY Paph!!! and RJS MX is good stuff!!
