Well done in choosing a really healthy looking plant, its roots look very strong and healthy and the flowers are lovely. I hope it is still doing as well.

It is doing very well actually. Thanks! I repotted it as you can tell by the huge pot (didn't think over potting was an issue until just today, so i'm having second thoughts.....) but I blasted the flowers. They opened for a couple days then wilted. But, the Stalk was and is, still fresh but I cut it down to the next node to see if that helps and it popped out a new leaf afer losing all of it's flowers. I will post pics now that I can do it and it's pretty fun actually lol.

Pictures 1,2, and 3 are from the 20th of October and showing the little nubbin of the new leaf (1), the whole plant (2), and just the still fresh flower stalk (3)

Pictures 4-8: Were taken today and you can see how much the leaf has grown, and the last picture shows the whole plant and the flower stalk cut just above the first node.

A smaller container is probably a good idea. Try to find one that just fits the roots in.

Thats's what I did last night Rosie. This one only filled in the top 3rd of the pot and the bottom was still damp and I watered 2 weeks ago!

Looking good Mike! Say, are you Washington DC or Washington State? What's your weather like at this time of year - here it is so cool and poor light levels mean that pots often only need watering once a month anyway.

I always use 2 weeks as my marker point. If medium is still damp after two weeks then something needs changing. (I prefer them to dry in under a week, but two weeks is the outside).

Sounds like it was the best thing to have repotted it. Best of luck with it.
