lol no but some bugs travel on the plant and dont move far with out help by taking them in a car you can take them 100s of miles fast ...and for some bugs I guess there are barriers of some sort such as a lage area with no host that they cant cross without help like a human and a car to croos Hummm maybe a desert or mountain they for some reason they could not get acroos because of extream cold....
Some would have to be transported in soil even. and might never get out of a small area untill they were moved by a human .....in fact here the oakl borers travel slowly untill people start carrying fire wood from one area to another and then I guess maye no natural predator in the new area and its explosive resulting in massive harm to forests where they have never been before .
And just because they shipped it to you does not mean it was closley inspected I have read on this very board the stories of mealy and scale infested mail orders from some vendors. They were not very worried about bugs in those few cases so what else came with it....some regulations are a good thing and just have to be in place.
