If you have the ads turned off, think about turning them back on and for the love of Pete, if you need to buy anything advertised in the banners, click on it from this site. There are many good vendors out there ready to serve you and it helps support this site we love so much. We buy these things anyway, why not let OB get the credit for it?

Great thought, we do buy our chids or supplies anyway, why not do it for the OB. By all means we should also utilize the "sponsors" here on the OB for our orchid needs...or should I say "our wants and needs"..

I consider Orchid Board Sponsors to be trusted sources of orchids and supplies. I always check out the sponsors first to see what they have available.

I agree that the vendors support is important to the forum. However I would like the option to have the ads unseen if I choose as a sponser of the forum also. It drives me a slighty batty to see them (ads), it's getting cluttery in my opinion

I would like to see the vendors have their own corner on the board so they can advertise as the wish, with threads of their own and any specials that they might want us to know about.
Give them they're own space but in a different way.

This is NOT to get on anyone nerves and certainly NOT to insult anyone - It's just how I veiw things

I say the goal of our next OB Project should be to find a plant available from one of our sponsors

I think it would be cool if the vendors posted specials or info. Maybe even stuff only available to OB people even

I know I'd buy much more supplies from the OB venders if they posted updates or special info for us!

As in the other thread, I think it's a great idea and it's important that we have this opportunity to keep it within our community.
