Are these fungus? Help!!
I just received my mail order orchid from orchids.com, and this is the Onc., one of the bulb is like black-green color and the rest of them all whrinkled, there are black spots on them too. Are these fungus?
According to orchids.com, these are normal old grows, they will die and grow new ones. Can anybody tell me is this true? (this is a plant that suppose to bloom in spring fall and winter.)
Many thanks!!
Jing

I am not sure how "normal" the spots are. I would definitely treat it. Also the plant looks dehydrated. Even old bulbs shouldn't be so wrinkly.

I agree with Anisa. Are there any plump pbulbs on the plant at all? Any new leads? Otherwise, I would tell them I was not entirely happy with the condition of the plant. Hopefully the roots are good?

Thanks for your opinions. There is one new bulb actually green and healthy. I just talk to the manager over there, he said this is because it's a hybrid, and it normally have black spots and WRINKLY therefore there's nothing to worry about. . They grow orchid in "sea grass' so it's hard to see any roots.Rest of the orchids seems healthy enough, so I will have to keep my finger cross on this one.

Black spots is something Oncidiums just "do" sometimes- most often, because of lack of watering, though it's not a big concern.
However, the advanced wrinkling you have is not entirely normal. That is a sign of dehydration.
Are any of the leaves crimped, or "accordioned"?

Seagrass?
What's seagrass?
When I worked there, it wasn't "seagrass" they were using. It was moss.
Sometimes the moss was all rotted out. That's probably why you "couldn't see the roots".
Man, what kind of bs are they trying to pull.
Change the media out immediately.
Use medium grade wood chips instead.
It looks salvageable.
Is it Brassia Rex or Onc Gower Ramsey? Or is it none of the mentioned?

Oh my, I think I should then change the medium then. There are tiny tiny black spots on the leaves as well, leaves are not crimped, thick and have a bit dry feeling. The guy who handled my call (Eric) told me this is normal and the bulbs are also normal look like that because this is not new growth, He said this type of hybrids look like that sometime. The plant is called Wils. Aloha Sparks 'Fireworks' Here is the link to the item.

Thanks for your advices!

Well, I'm on my second order from Norman's (orchids.com) and, after I nearly lost a beloved Zygo (which is STILL barely hanging on and struggling with systemic rot issues) and talking with Philip about them, I decided that orchids from there are to be immediately repotted, no matter whether in bloom or not, and I just preemptively treat them all as if they were infested with rot and bacteria.
I haven't actually lost a plant yet, but I did just get my second order and some of the zygo's seem to be less than optimally healthy...
That said, if any of my plants from Norman's arrived with brown or mushy p-bulbs, I would immediately expect a refund. That dark bulb looks like it might be rotting. Is is mushy at all? If so, I'd personally expect a replacement plant shipped out...

The roots
Oh thanks guys for the advices, to the sound of it, the only way I can get a refund is when I have to send them back myself, they are not going to cover for the shipping. The bulb in the pictures are very hard, not mushy, I haven't take a look of the roots yet but I will today. Jen, what is a p-bulb and what do you use to treat the plants? I don't have anything at home.
I just took it out of the pot, the mosses smells a bit and here are the roots from 2 sides. What do you think?
