I bought a noid phal from lowes yesterday because it had a keiki. Yeah lowes grew a keiki. I don't know how, but they did. However, the mother plant doesn't look that good, but i cannot cut the keiki off because the roots are so small. I will post another thread later with some pictures. The leaves of the mother plant have white spots on them and 2 are dying. Can i repot this plant?
Pics would be good so the pros on here can have a better idea of what is going on.
When my phal's seem to be having issues, I always check the roots first, cleaning them out as needed. I do repot them in fresh medium and keep them in a somewhat darker place for a while. I also use Dyna-Gro Pro-Tekt silicone solution (diluted a bit more than suggested) and use it once a week to help the phal become a bit stronger to overall environmental stress factors.
As for the white spots, I do not know what to tell you as I am somwhat of a newbie and do not have experience with white spots. Post some pictures and hopefully someone will have some better answers for you.
