I have good news on my recovering Phalaenopsis. Not sure how the roots are doing but the plant is growing, slow, but growing.

Here's before ( one month and a half ago) :

And here it is today, the new leaf is bigger and another new one coming up :

Thank you to everybody who advised me what to do with this plant. It is rewarding to see it grow!

Luiza

Good job! Can you not see any of the roots? I hope repotting was part of the treatment plan.

Oh Yes! Repoting was part of the treatment as it had only one long root left. I can see part of the roots but the one that I see are not growing. They used to have green tips but they are not anymore and stopped growing. The leaf instead grew... But I cannot see if somewere else underneath the medium there are other green tips..

Good to see it's recovering. Many of mine have now stopped root growth... I think the cool weather we had in August caused them to stop. I wouldn't worry about that... hopefully it will start again in the spring.

It looks like it's doing well anyway and that new leaf looks healthy, it reminds me of one of mine while it was recovering... the first new leaves were perhaps thinner and with some wrinkes, but each new leaf was stronger than the last and the most recent have been nice broad shiny leaves.
