My understanding is that a keiki is a baby growing from the mother plant. I'm sure I've seen a post of two referred to keikis. A node....good question.
I have mostly heard the term "node" applied to phalaenopsis flower spikes, referring to the little flap of tissue (a bract) adjacent to the point of blossom growth.
"Keiki" is, indeed, a plantlet. The word is Hawaiian for "baby".

Keiki could mean Baby plant, and the monopodials and dendrobiums have them.
They could be on spikes, or the plant itself.
