I am not an expert but I don't think it looks like a cymbidium..although I can't help you on what it could be ? hopefully somone will be able to tell you but you really need to have a photo of the flowers

The plant in the first photo you posted cannot be a Grammatophyllum if the flowers are bluish. I don't know of any species in that Genus whose flowers are bluish. They're all yellow-green with brownish-red blotching. Maybe someone else knows better, though, since my first thought on seeing the large bulbs was also that it was a Grammatophyllum.

hi nenella, yes i just confirmed that it is not a cymbidium. I saw a cymbidium today in an orchids garden store and it's way too different in looks. the cymbidium i saw in the store has similarity to our ground orchids except the flowers.

my mistake... i mixed it up. the bluish flower is for the second picture which I mistaken for a cymbidium.
