Question Soft, curled leaves on lower leaves

I have recently bought another phal (This one is only little) It looked to be in good health. The leaves are dark, Roots are nice and green, It was in sphagnum but the medium was bone dry, Still blooming... The only thing I do notice is that the bottom leaves are soft and are curling in. What dose this mean and is it a cause for concern?

Thank-you

In a healthy plant, as the plant grows new leaves, the lower leaves will drop off. If you have a root problem the lower leaves will also drop off. Have you actually taken the plant out of the pot and inspected all roots?

yes I have and they look fine... The medium is bone dry though so i'm wondering if it is showing signs of lack of water.

I also just noticed that another flower is opening up...

Don't let the media get bone dry- water when the roots turn silver. It could very well be lack of water, if the media is always staying dry.
