Charcoal will have to water more often. I think if the plant roots grow into the media and the media looks ok, don't touch it? Water when the roots turn from green to white. I'm just learning myself so take everything i say with a grain of salt.

Fertilizer, normally we can get the chemical balanced one(gaviota 63) or if u want organic, be-1 or goat dung. I use chemical one once a week.

King_of_orchid_growing, is it true antelope variety will require more sun/full sun even?

I think so - at the moment it's in front of the patio doors which get full sun in the morning

I'm scared it will completely fry if it's given too much light
