Would you be able to provide enough sun indoors?
Charcoal will have to water more often. I think if the plant roots grow into the media and the media looks ok, don't touch it? Water when the roots turn from green to white. I'm just learning myself so take everything i say with a grain of salt.
Fertilizer, normally we can get the chemical balanced one(gaviota 63) or if u want organic, be-1 or goat dung. I use chemical one once a week.
