I have a phal that was purchased with normal flowers. The plant got a touch of crown rot, and formed a basal growth - from that time on, the flowers showed a bit of peloria. This year, one of the two spikes had mostly normal flowers. Check out this photo!

I love semi-peloric Phals, but yours is...very cool. I'm jealous!

My full-peloric produces really consistant flowers, so I don't have any real knowledge of how the flowers could change from spike to spike or year to year.
Though it sounds like a fun surprise each time.

I just realized that I only have one really old photo of mine :P. The blooms are very pinkish on the current spike...

I just happened across this thread while searching for info since I am a new orchid owner...and I had to register so I could comment. LOL Love the photos!!

I knew something was different about the orchid I purchased and found out from someone that they thought it was a peloric phalaenopsis. So I thought I'd share a photo...
