Showing off the Oncidium papilio butterflies
Hello all,
This butterfly guy has been in bloom since March, but this is the first time he has 4 flowers opened at the same time. I "have to" show off.
The Onc. Heaven Scent sweet baby longest spike is more than 2 feet now and keep going up. This guy smells like chocolate. I can't wait for the flowers to open.
Thanks for looking!

WOW! Congratulations on your growing! That's the first time I see more than one flower too! Can you post a pic of the whole plant please? Your oncidium and fern look super too.You obviously have 'green fingers'

For me as well this is the first time that I see a Psychopsis with more than 2 flowers on it, and usually I only see them with 1.
Your Onc has huge spikes! If I had something like that the spikes wouldn't last long with my clumsiness. Do share some more photos when it blooms!

nenella,
Here is the whole plant. The fern likes the fish tank below it. It keeps the humidity level higher for the orchids around it too. I am a window sill grower.
Camille,
I will share the Onc. Heaven Scent when it blooms (if I don't manage to bread the spikes first - oops - knock on wood). I pierce through a Phal spike before when I tried to stake it. For this Onc, I decide to let it support itself with its own strength.

Thank Peewee,
When I bought it, it had 2 spikes. Since then it developed 3 more. Right now. 2 flowers are from the old spikes, 2 are from the first time bloomed spikes, and one is still in bud.
The picture of the whole plant is kind of dark. I don't know how to take picture when it is very bright in the background. It is 3:00 pm here and very sunny outside of the window.
P.S. Sorry - typo in the previous post: I meant to say "I don't manage to break...", not "bread".

The Onc. Heaven Scent sweet baby - the giant spike finally bloomed
It finally bloomed (while I was away on vacation).
I came back and here it is.
Thanks for looking! It smells so good. Anyone wants some hot chocolate drink?

Wonderful!
I have a Sharry Baby growing a big spike just now and the buds are starting to form so I'm getting really excited (and impatient )
