Vandas at Lowe's?
I live in Virginia and was wondering if Lowe's sells vanda orchids. Could someone please tell me? Thanks in advanced.

Well I live in South Florida and they do here. Supplied by Better Gro orchids. I really can't say where you live.

In CO, you're lucky to get more than a low-grade no-id Phal. However- they have started to carry pretty good growing media and fertilizer made by Better Gro.
I'm endlessly jealous of the Home Depots and Lowes on the coast.

I'm sure it is possible. I've heard of some people finding them at Lowe's. I'm not sure what states they were from though. I live in PA and saw a Rhyncostylis at my local Lowe's. It was a Better Gro orchid. It was a bag baby. There are 3 Lowes near by me and they all have different assortments, some don't carry the Better Gro orchids, however.

You guys should give my Lowes a talking to, get them in on the game. Not once have any of the BBS near me had anything close to a bag baby or named orchid.

This was a Lowe's bag baby in May, two month later it's blooming. It came with a little plastic basket, Lowe's has great Vandas in Florida. Hope you have as good as luck with yours.

$12.98, they had some for 15. they were a little bigger and were in a wooden basket. Can't beat the price. I've bought several bag babies.
Vandas in the bag have all the same pic, but they are all different labels inside. I just look them over good and if everything looks healthy, it's come on bag baby you are going home with me.
I've bought several cats and Lc, I saw HD had some too, they were a few bucks more. The only other orchids I've bought from Lowe's or HD are on delivery day, from the delivery box to my hand, and only labeled ones. I've had real good luck. The price is the only way my collection grew.
