Welcome to Orchid Board.

I don't know this orchid but it is an intergeneric hybid between the genuses Brassia, Laelia, and Cattleya.... except... it's been reclasified (assuming I've found the right thing because the spelling you have used does not exist).

Does it look like this?

If so it is now correctly called

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Suvarnabhumi Delight 'Salmon Queen'

(the Blc in your name stands for Brassolaeliocattleya but it has now been reclasified as Rhyncholaeliocattleya).

Note the quote marks in the name. The orchid Hybrid name is Suvarnabhumi Delight and the 'Salmon Queen' is a cultivar name.

Anyway, all of that is by way of getting the right name because it can help if you are searching Google or something like that to find info about it. You will find results under both Brassolaeliocattleya (Blc) and Rhyncholaeliocattleya (don't know the abreviation for that) because after a reclasification you always find a mixture of old and new names in use.

OK, finally the little I do know... well I'm not good on Cattleya Allicance so not much... except that they like their roots to dry out between waterings and like relatively high light (but not direct).

You say it's in a basket but ask if you should put it in the basket... I'm slightly confused by that, can you explain. Pics always help with descriptions.

Sounds like a net pot which are quite often used to allow lots of air flow. Cattleyas like a lot of air flow which is probably the reason for the net pot.

My Cattleya is in bark not sure what others think is a good medium but as it likes it's roots to dry bark is likely to be better than moss (which stays wet a long time, especially in the UK climate).

I would advise getting a good quality medium if you are repotting, the stuff in garden centers can be already decayed. I use this website (link below) but there are other goods ones in the UK. Basically you want the stuff from an orchid specialist.
