I bought this same orchid at Lowe's. I think it may be Ondontocidium rather than Oncidium, but I'm not really sure. I recently transplanted mine. It was once in a plastic pot wrapped in the pink foil with way broken down bark that had molded throughout the top two inches. I trimmed alot of the roots out as most of them were dead from over-watering. So far, I think it's doing quite well with the transplant but it lost it's blooms fairly quickly. It really hasn't been long since to tell. I've just been weekly fertilizing, I've fertilized once since I got it which was about a month ago. Thinking that if I feed it with majority R.O. water with just a little Nitrogen it will pick back up on the growth cycle...
