Default Are These Flowers Seeds Or What?

Walking near my house (in Colombia) this morning I came upon this which to my untrained eye appears to be an orchid. If it is what are the bulbous shapes at the end, are they flowers about to bloom, bloomed out flowers or something else? I had a telephoto lens on my camera for birds and backed up as far as I could to get as much of the plant as possible. If they are flowers that havenīt bloomed oh boy!

No Dendrobium in Colombia. Probably an Epidendrum.
